We are a group of twelve PhD students representing the 11th edition of the International Programme in Experimental Biology & Biomedicine (BEB), home at the Center for Neuroscience & Cell Biology (CNC), University of Coimbra, Portugal. As young scientists, we believe that curiosity and creativity are the fuels of good science. In a period of crisis however, achieving such is a huge challenge. Therefore it will be our pleasure to invite you to join us in our quest for knowledge!
With our “Seeding curiosity, harvesting science” Symposium we aim to present some examples of incredibly persevering and creative scientists who will share with us their most promising ideas. We aim to help spreading science and promote dialogue between scientists from several fields, such as neuroscience, stem cells and cancer research.
“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” – Albert Einstein
